SVN | Southgate Realty, LLC, Hattiesburg’s leader in apartment management and commercial real estate is growing and currently looking for a Leasing Professional for our premiere community- The Lakes at Turtle Creek Apartment Homes.

Leasing Professional
This position's hours cover 20-30 hours a week, and is best suited for those looking to gain experience in the real estate and management industries. Experience is not required.  Advancement to other positions is possible.

Basic Role: To show and lease apartment homes, direct community phone calls.
Relationships: Reports to the community manager. Maintains relationships with all associates, suppliers, vendors, current and prospective residents. 
Wage Status: Hourly with leasing bonuses.

Responsibilities:
• Provide superior customer service.
• Introduce and promote community living by interviewing prospective residents, recording information to ascertain needs and qualifications.
• Lease apartment homes to prospective residents, by qualifying them through community standards, ensuring all prospects are treated in accordance with federal fair housing laws.
• Verifying lease paperwork and documents, updating records as necessary.
• Process and follow up on work order requests and guest card leads.
• With community team members, organize community events and newsletter.
• Assist community manager and assistant manager where needed.

Requirements:
Overview
• Must possess strong communication and customer service skills.
• Keen attention to detail is necessary.
• Computer proficiency on Microsoft Office Suite, to include Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to apply basic concepts of math.
• Present yourself in a professional manner.
